Welcome to our catalogue of public art in Birmingham. We are currently cataloguing 21st Century public art as there is no definitive central record of this and this is an urgent need. In the late 20th Century George Noszlopy was a formidable force in Birmingham’s public art. His book, Public Sculpture of Birmingham, is a major academic work cataloguing Birmingham’s public art. There is also a Wikipedia site giving a photographic record of many pieces of Birmingham’s public art. Street art is a vibrant part of Birmingham’s public art experience. In our 21st century catalogue we separate that out from other types of public art. This catalogue uses a web page for each art piece. We have divided the indexing by century. We will add search facilities in due course
